As the cause of the fault may be unknown, an estimate cannot be given. Therefore a call out charge of £60 will be applied, this will cover one hour of investigation. Many faults are often found and even rectified within the first hour. If the fault cannot be found or rectified in the first hour, then it should be possible to give an estimate at this stage.
